How this newsroom works
Instrumented tests. Real range. The charge that actually shows up.
EV News is an enthusiast newsroom for electric vehicles: the cars and trucks people drive, the stalls they plug into, the packs underneath, and the companies that have to make the math work.
What the numbers mean
Scores are out of 10. Range and charge figures are taken from the spec sheet on file and, when a test exists, from the instrumented loop we drove. We do not round a marketing number into a road-test number.
A score lives on a review record. A spec sheet lives on a product record. We do not merge a press-kit range into a road-test loop just to fill a hero module.
What you will not find here
Sample articles, invented discounts, or a catalog of vehicles we have not actually entered. Empty rails are designed that way. When a story files, it leads.
Desks and beats
Coverage is split across passenger cars, trucks and SUVs, chargers, batteries, and companies, with standing beats on solid-state cells, autonomy, vehicle-to-grid, and charging networks.
